We reply within one business day on East Africa Time, often the same morning on WhatsApp. Weekend park emergencies for guests already on trip are handled as operations, not as new sales leads. For a first outline, use this form, Plan your trip, or WhatsApp on the number above.
Month or dates, number of travellers and ages, whether you care about migration, Kilimanjaro, or beach, and a budget feel if you have one. Flight numbers help later, not at first. The more you share, the less we guess. Destination context lives on destinations if you are still choosing parks.
Use Plan your trip when you are ready to talk budget, nights, and lodge style. Use this contact form for a question, a callback, or a short “is late October still migration?” note. Both reach the same Arusha desk. Neither is a shopping cart.
Yes. The header and the WhatsApp card on this page go to the same operations number. Please still write names and dates in one message so the thread is usable. If you prefer a long written record, email info@kiliruta.com or this form. Read About KiliRuta if you want to know who is on the other end.
Desk hours are weekdays, roughly 08:00–18:00 East Africa Time, with flexibility when guests are already in parks. Calling at midnight from another continent may wait until morning. WhatsApp messages still land; we just may not be awake. Emergency support for booked trips is separate from first-time sales calls. Numbers and the form are on this Contact page; the About page explains how the desk works.
The outline is free. You pay when you accept a trip and we start locking lodges and park fees. That is spelled out in the quote and in the Terms. We do not invent a planning fee to open the conversation.
Yes if you leave a number that accepts Tanzanian or WhatsApp calls. Many guests prefer WhatsApp to avoid roaming. Put your timezone in the message so we do not ring during your night. Plan your trip also has a phone field if you would rather send dates and a number together.
Send the package name and dates. We still confirm lodge availability and a written inclusions list before deposit. Open the package under safaris, Kilimanjaro, day trips, or Zanzibar and paste the title into this form.
Enquiry fields are used to plan your trip and reply. We do not sell lists. Details are on the Privacy Policy. Do not send passport scans in the first message; names and dates are enough to start.
We can talk pacing, route length, and what summit night feels like. We cannot prescribe Diamox or clear you to trek. Buy insurance that covers 6,000 m. Read Is Kilimanjaro hard to climb? then ask us route questions, not clinic questions.
Simple meet-and-greet is possible around a larger journey. A standalone taxi is not our core product. If you are already booking a climb or safari, transfers belong in that outline. Say the flight number so we are not guessing JRO versus Arusha town.
Say so. Lodge charts and park-fee windows move. We would rather rewrite an unpaid outline than hold the wrong week. Once a deposit is in, change rules follow the Terms and supplier penalties. Message this desk rather than hoping a hotel portal notices.
Yes, with clear guest names and a single briefing channel so the family does not receive two contradictory itineraries. Say you are an agent in the first line. We still write inclusions in English a guest can read. Start with Plan your trip or this form.
The travel blog and destination guides exist so you do not have to ask “when is migration?” from scratch. Then email us the constraint that is actually yours: school holidays, a knee, a fear of camping. That is when a desk earns its keep.
Operations run from Arusha. Visits are by appointment, not a drop-in souvenir counter. Most planning happens on WhatsApp, email, and calls before you fly. If you are already in town, write first so someone is actually at the desk. The About page explains the working style.
